Flexible FTV Vertical Machining Centers
Cincinnati Lamb’s new FTV series of Fixed Table Vertical machining centers
provides operational flexibility and increased production capacity, making them
well-suited for die mold and aerospace applications. With the versatile
FTV line, you can machine parts that have complex shapes and contours with a
single setup, eliminating the need for multiple changes and different machines.
The new FTV family is equipped with
GE
Fanuc 18i-MB or Siemens
840-D CNC state-of-the-art controls that deliver maximum productivity.
The FTV features a traveling column that contains all axis motions, allowing
pendulum loading in cycle to reduce load/unload times without using pallet
shuttles and maximizes spindle utilization. The fixed table eliminates table
droop and roll, so the FTV can handle heavier loads with no effect on accuracy
and provides increased capacity for multiple set-ups and components up to 800mm
x 3700mm. And, the FTV’s compact design delivers all this capability in
a smaller footprint compared to conventional machining centers with a moving
table.
Six different models of FTV machines provide capability and flexibility for
general purpose, Aerospace and large part manufacturers.
