The all-new family of V-CNC Vertical Machining Centers from Cincinnati Machine offers simplicity and value in a surprisingly affordable package that is perfect for first-time CNC users, small sub-contract shops and educational institutions.
The new easy-to-learn and easy-to-use GE Fanuc 21i-B CNC control is ideal for shops that must start cutting faster from the outset and ensures that operators spend more time cutting than learning complex control systems.
The new VMCs are available with two different sizes of X-axis travel. The V-CNC 500, with 510 mm of X-Y-Z-axis travel, provides maximum value for the money and is exceptionally user-friendly.
The V-CNC 500 features a 40 taper, 8,000 rpm, 17 Hp spindle and a 21-tool changer with metal-to-metal change time of seven seconds. With a 700 mm x 520 mm worktable. the V-CNC 500 can handles workpieces up to 1100 lbs.
The V-CNC 750 shares the same spindle power and tool changer, but offers a greater X-axis travel of 762 mm. With a 950 mm x 520 mm work surface, it handles a maximum workload of 1650 lbs.
Both V-CNC models feature an acc/dec rate of 3m/sec2, rapid traverse in X-Y-Z axes of 20 m/min and a maximum feed rate of 15 m/min. Both provide positioning accuracy of +/- 5 microns and repeatability of +/- 1 micron.
The value-added options available for both models to enhance performance include spindle and tool probes, 4th axis interface, automatic coolant, 16 MB part programming package, wash gun, and integral wash swarf removal system, in addition to the standard swarf auger for the ultimate in swarf extraction.
